United States Customs and Border Protection says the Integrated Fixed
Surveillance Towers it plans to build on the Tohono O’odham Nation will
have no significant impact on the environment or the people. This is not the
case. The towers will have a very significant and long-lasting impact on the
land and on the people of the Tohono O’odham Nation.

The Finding of No Significant Impact CBP released does not accurately
represent the towers’ impact. It also does not take into consideration any
of the concerns expressed by residents of the Gu-Vo District. Join us in
petitioning to reject CBP’s Environmental Assessment and oppose
the construction of the Integrated Fixed Towers in the Gu-Vo District.
Protect O’odham patrimony and sovereignty.
